1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using www.regencydentalgroup.com (the "Site"), operated by Regency Dental Group, Office of Dr. Lance C. Carter, DDS ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The Site does not provide medical or dental advice
All content on the Site, including text, articles, images, videos, and frequently asked questions, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not dental or medical advice, is not a diagnosis, and is not a recommendation for any particular treatment. Dental conditions and appropriate treatments vary from person to person, and nothing on the Site can account for your individual circumstances. Always seek the advice of a licensed dentist or physician with any questions about a dental or medical condition. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on the Site.
Descriptions of services, procedures, and expected outcomes are general in nature. Results vary by patient, and no outcome is guaranteed. Any mention of a product, brand, or technology is descriptive and is not an endorsement or a promise of availability.
3. Emergencies
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. This includes, without limitation, uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing or swallowing, facial trauma, swelling that is spreading toward the eye or neck, or any loss of consciousness. 4. No dentist-patient relationship
Using the Site, reading its content, or submitting an appointment request does not create a dentist-patient relationship between you and Dr. Carter or Regency Dental Group. A dentist-patient relationship is formed only when you are examined and accepted as a patient in our office.
5. Appointment requests
An appointment request submitted through the Site is a request only. It is not confirmed until our office contacts you and agrees on a date and time. We are not responsible for requests that are not received due to technical problems. Please do not include detailed health information in website forms; we will collect clinical information by phone or in person.
6. Content and accuracy
We try to keep the Site accurate and current, but we make no representation that content is complete, accurate, or up to date. Insurance participation, financing offers, hours, fees, and services may change without notice; please confirm current details with our office. Some blog articles were republished from third-party sources and are labeled as such; they reflect the views of their authors.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Regency Dental Group or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. 12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Solano County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
