The implant works by replacing the root of the tooth with a small implant to hold the replacement tooth in place. Aside from aesthetic reasons, dental implants can help improve speech, ease eating as well as improve oral health as other normal teeth are not reduced unlike those of other dental procedures such as dental bridges.
